PRIVILEGE WALK

Privilege Walk

1. Discuss privilege & promote reflection.

2. Not a perfect exercise.

Privilege Walk

• Begin silently, without speaking, hand in hand in a single line.

• Listen carefully.

• Take the step if it applies to you.

• Don’t take a step if it makes you uncomfortable.

• We will return to this room to debrief.

Debrief questions

• Share one word that captures how you are feeling right now.

• How did it feel to be in the front of the line?

• How did it feel to be in the back of the line?

• Were some statements more impactful than others?

• Any new realizations?
