 Processing takes up to 8 weeks before being posted as a credit to your City of Redding utility account. Itemized rebates can be found on the back of your monthly bill. Please do not call to check on the status of a rebate until after at least two billing cycles.

 E NERGY STAR® APPLIANCE Rebate Criteria

1. Only makes and models on the current E NERGY  STAR® eligibility list qualify for a rebate.

2. Appliances installed in rental properties qualify for a rebate.

3. Appliances for resale, rental, or lease do not qualify for a rebate.

4. Clothes Washer rebate funded by City of Redding Water Division.

 ELECTRIC WATER HEATER CRITERIA:

5. Qualifying electric water heaters MUST have an Energy Factor of .94 or greater.

6. Must provide proof of Energy Factor.

TERMS and CONDITIONS

Funds for these incentives are limited. REU reserves the right to change and/or terminate

incentives at its own discretion based on availability of supporting funds. REU also reserves the

right to inspect and verify installation of any energy-efficiency improvements. Customers who

reject REU’s verification process may be subject to rebate denial or reversal. REU does not

guarantee any equipment or energy savings. Only current REU customers qualify for a rebate.
