THANK YOU FOR COMING We are always happy to have each of you join us in worship at Edgemont Baptist Church regardless of whether you are a newcomer or a long-time member. We hope you feel at home in the presence of God throughout this and every service. There is a nursery for bed babies, and we also provide Extended Session for children through 3 years of age. Our pastor will be in the foyer after the service and would love to meet you and speak with you about any need you may have. Our pastor is also available to minister to you. If you have a prayer request, please put it on the back of your worship register. We would enjoy praying for your needs.

Near the end of the service, we sing a hymn of decision. You are invited to respond to God’s leading by coming forward and speaking to a minister about your decision. You will receive help in understanding how to take the next step in being a follower of Jesus or a member of this local church. Here is how you may join:

• By making a commitment of your life to Jesus

Christ as Savior and Lord and requesting baptism by immersion.

• By transferring your letter of membership from

another Baptist church, affirming a previous commitment to Jesus Christ.

• From another denomination by Statement of a

previous commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and baptism by immersion after that commitment.
