All conference events, unless otherwise noted will be held at the Hotel Alex Johnson. A block of sleeping rooms has been reserved at the Hotel Alex Johnson. Rooms rates are $175 + tax. To make reservations call 605-342-1210 and mention NASPE code 2018 to reserve the meeting rate. Reservations must be made by June 21, 2018 to ensure the room rate and availability. Reservations made after this date are not guaranteed the meeting rate.

NASPE will cover the cost of 1 person per FY19 (7/1/18-6/30/19) dues-paying state to attend the 2018 Annual Meeting. NASPE will cover three nights’ lodging at the conference hotel at the conference rate, $500 in airfare and the meeting registration fees. NASPE does not cover the cost of ground transportation, tips, or meals not provided with the conference as outlined in the official agenda. Registration fees for the conference are $595 for state and corporate members and $1,000 for non-members. Should a registrant not qualify for a membership rate, NASPE will invoice and expect payment for the non-member rate.

Guests are always welcomed! Guest passes for the President’s Reception ($25) are available for purchase for guests outside of the industruy (spouses, family, etc.). Please purchase in advance so that the headcount is accurate.Registration is available online at www.naspe.net/annual-meeting-2018.

Serves Allegiant, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and United Airlines.

Avis, Budget, Hertz and National all provide car rental services on the airport’s premises. The Hotel Alex Johnson offers complimentary shuttle service, but variety of taxis, including Rapid City Taxi, Inc. are at your disposal, as well.

DRESS for the NASPE Annual Meeting is business casual. The average high temperature in Rapid City in July is 86° high, and average low is 62°F degrees. Please remember to bring a light sweater or jacket for the meeting rooms and the evenings.
