In addition to time to enjoy family and friends, it's a time where young athletes can take responsibility for their development, and make changes that coaches and teams never have time to do during the season. In this program, players are exposed to instruction to help the athlete make significant changes in how she plays, her skills and how she ‘thinks the game’. She’s working with some of the best teachers of the game, and also playing with top players who can play the game at her level. Our Philosophy Cap Raeder, nationally recognized and acclaimed coach, former NHL coach at many levels works with NAHA players and goalies in unique instructional settings. During the season, Cap is a regular at NAHA practices and works with NAHA’s goalies. He’s one of the elite goalie coaches in the world. Sean Coady, former Director of Player Development with the San Jose Sharks spends time helping players and tuning up members of the USA U18 National Team who all made the trek to NAHA to prepare prior to the August USA Hockey Women’s Festival and the U18 series with Canada. We utilize technology in our instruction during the Elite Prospects Camp. Pro goalie coach Vincent Riendeau talks a goalie through a routine to be taped, and NAHA’s Jesse Driscoll reviews video with players below. And, there’s no shortage of that during the NAHA camps. We recognize that in order to provide the best experience, there needs to be a balance between hockey development and being teenagers and making memories to last a life time! Every day we provide time and organize traditional summer camp activities - from roasting marshmellows by the camp fire, hiking the beautiful Green Mountains, team building activities, and just plain fun- it’s all a very important part of summer camps at NAHA! The girls come from far and wide, and share a special bond and experience when attending NAHA camps, something that will be part of them forever! We really enjoy making the NAHA summer camp experience enjoyable and memorable for all the participants. The NAHA Elite Prospects camp is geared for 2003-2005 birthyears, with a solid skill level and understanding of the game. We strongly believe summer is a time for development as an athlete and a hockey player. In addition to time to enjoy family

and friends, it's a time where young athletes can take responsibility for their development, and make changes that coaches and teams never have time to do during the season.
