YOUTH MINISTRY SUMMER ACTIVITIES

Summer Music Camp Led by our Music Director Maryla Gorla. Sessions run from 12:00 noon to 3:00pm every Wednesday,

Mass, Coffee, Word - Every Wednesday morning at 9:00am join Nick for Mass and a good cup of coffee. We will gear up with the Gospel and see what happens…

First Hike July 12th- Get outside and go on a hike! We have four hikes planned this summer starting with a nice easy hike in Prince William Forest. All youth are invited to join in the oldest hobby known to man! Stay tuned for more details.

Kings Dominion- July 27th- Mark your calendars now for this day at the theme park with everyone from the Arlington Dio-cese. Bishop Burbidge will be kicking off the day with Mass at Saint Mary’s in Fredericksburg and then leading the charge to the Park. The cost is only $40 and the best part is that everyone is invited. Bring your family and bring your friends. Sign up will start soon.

Mass at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, Washington, D.C., on JULY 28, for the Catholic Grandpar-ents Association. All grandparents, grandchildren, adult chil-dren and anyone interested in attending the second CGA Mass is welcome. FEAST OF OUR LADY OF ANGELS

Join the parish on Thursday, August 2nd for Mass, a Rosary procession, and a pot-luck in honor of our Patron's Feast. Par-ticipating in the Mass and procession pro-vides parishioners with the opportunity to benefit from a plenary indulgence. Please bring your favorite dish to share! You may drop off your food at the Rectory during office hours or at the parish hall any time after 5pm.

The bilingual Mass will begin at 7:00pm, followed immediately by the rosary pro-cession around the parish grounds, ending at the hall where we will have some shows from different countries. Everyone is en-couraged to bring a variety of meals, especially highlighting foods from different countries. If you are going to bring food, please call the Rectory to let us know. College Nights are free to all students and provide resources and support for keeping your Catholic faith when entering col-lege this fall. Catholic student representatives from George Ma-son, UVA, The University of Mary Washington, William & Mary, Virginia Tech and other private and public schools will be on hand to share their experiences of being a Catholic college stu-dent. This is a great opportunity to network with other Catholic students and to receive resources for the transition to college only a few months away. The Nights begin at 7:00 PM, and stu-dents are encouraged to wear their college t-shirt to the event! COMO SEPARAR LA FECHA PARA EL BAUTISO

MISA DE SANACION

FIESTA PATRONAL DE NUESTRA SEÑORA DE LOS ANGELES

Únase a la parroquia el jueves 2 de agosto en la Fiesta Patronal de Nuestra Señora de Los Ángeles. Celebraremos la Misa bilingüe, y se llevará a cabo una procesión donde se rezará el Rosario en varios idiomas. Al participar en la Santa Misa y procesión se le proporciona a los feligreses la oportunidad de beneficiarse de una indulgencia plenaria. Después de la procesión, compartiremos un almuerzo de estilo “pot luck” y unas presenta-ciones culturales de algunos países, en el salón parroquial. Puede dejar la comida en la Rectoría en horas de oficina o en el gimnasio a partir de las 5pm. La Misa bilingüe se celebrará a las 7pm, seguida inmediata-mente por la procesión del Rosario alrededor de la parroquia, terminando en frente del gimnasio. Animémonos a traer una variedad de comidas, destacando es-pecialmente platos de nuestros diferentes países. Si piensa traer alguna comida, favor anotarse después de las Misas.

Recuerde asistir a la clase Pre - bautismal que se dicta todos los segundos lunes de cada mes, a las 7:30pm. Después de haberla recibido, puede ir a la Rectoría, por lo menos un mes antes, para separar la fecha para el bautismo. Los horarios para reservar la fecha en la Rectoría son de lunes a viernes de 8:30 a 11:00am y de 1:00 a 7:00pm. La clase Pre – bautismal es válida por un año. Atención: si usted va a bautizar en otra Iglesia por favor llame a la Rectoría para solicitar la carta de constancia de haber asis-tido a la clase.
