Thank you to everyone who helped with hosting Family Promise from June 26 - July 3! Three families consisting of 3 single moms and 10
children stayed at Dayspring. Two families were in the process of finding a home to transition to. Two of the moms had job interviews / job plans lined up. All of the families enjoyed hearing the Chorale’s Bon Voyage Concert, seeing Julie Hackmann’s students production of “Bye Bye Birdie”, and seeing a movie at the cinema down the street. One boy celebrated his 12th birthday while at Dayspring. According to the guests, ours is “one of the best” host churches. A special thank you to all of you at Dayspring who make it so! Our next turn to host is Oct. 16 - 23. If anyone has an extra ironing board and / or spare functional fan, we would put them to good use. Fondly, Maria Hase.
