Since Fridays are a traditional day of fast and abstinence, we invite you to offer prayers and sacrifices for vocations to the priesthood and religious life on the First Friday of the month.

This month we ask that you pray especially for: Kenn Clem and Nicholas Ashmore, both Theology II. Kenn is studying at Mundelein Seminary in Chicago, and Nicholas attends Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in St. Louis. Carter Zielinski, Theology III, is at the North American College in Rome. Please keep all the seminarians of the Archdiocese in your prayers.

Friday is the First Friday of the Month

The Anointing of the Sick will take place at the 8:05 am Mass, July 7th in the church. Those wishing to be anointed should sit in any front pew with relatives or friends seated behind them in the second row.

First Fridays

The next Baptism Prep Class is Wednesday, August 9th, at 6:30 p.m. in the Aquinas Room. If you have not previously attended a class, please call the church office, 913-660-1184, to register. Classes are held every 3 months and Baptisms generally take place on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month following the 10:30 am Mass.

Interested in Hosting a St. Teresa’s Academy Exchange Student?

St. Teresa's Academy is currently seeking a family to host an exchange student from their sister school in Japan. The student will arrive in August and will stay through the end of the school year. As a host, you serve as the home for the student while they attend St. Teresa’s. Each exchange student is selected through an extensive application and interview process to ensure she is academically, socially, and personally a good fit. You can choose to host for an entire academic year, a semester or a quarter. Each host family receives a monthly stipend to help off-set the costs of an additional person in your home. Wyandotte Pregnancy Clinic in Kansas City, KS is looking for a certified Ultrasound Technician to do Maternal/Fetal limited sonograms 1-2

days per week. WPC will pay per sonogram for services provided by this 1099 contract employee. WPC is a non-profit (501c3) that offers free pregnancy tests, sonograms, educa-tion, counseling and material aid to serve women and their families facing unplanned pregnancies.
