The Ruth Report
Dear Friends,
Visiting with AmericanLegion members from
around the state at their
annual summer conven-
tion was the perfect wayto kick off our July 4 week
celebrations.
What an honor- these are
Americans who not onlyserved in the military, but
who continue to give
back, day after day, tomake Michigan better.
They support our troops,
work to ensure our veter-
ans have the benefits they
have earned and deserveand promote patriotism.
They remind us all aboutwhat makes America
great. I am so very proud
of all of them!
Our trip through northernMichigan and the U.P.
was a marathon session,
but what an opportunity
to really hear whatMichiganians think about
our government, what is
working and what isnt, and their concerns for this nations future.
A big thanks to everyone involved your warm welcomes and Michiganhospitality was so appreciated. Happy Fourth of July to you and your
families. God Bless America!
