IEEE movement in India is in upswing. It is also celebrating 50 th year of IEEE Kanpur Section, the first section in India. It has set many milestones such as visiting of R10 directors, organising R10-HTC first time an R10 event, selection of a member in R10 ExCom and IC chairman, etc. I would like to congratulate the volunteers, chairs, and office bearers who have given their time, energy, and expertise in maintaining one of the most dynamic and vibrant section of Region 10. Dwivedi .Theprogram is structured such thatstudents with basic programmingcapability can develop Androidprogramming skills. The programstructure has significant focus ondeveloping hands on programmingskills.

That means, if one practices something consistently for 31 days, on the 32nd day it does become a habit. Information has beeninternalised into behavioural change, which is called transformation. He said that The definition of success may be relative, but itsingredients are the same – Hard Work and Sacrifice. For success, you need a goal. For a goal, you need vision. For vision, you needa passion. So your road to success begins with passion. Be passionate. Success is a tough mistress. It comes only when you attract itwith hard work, lure it with effort, pamper it with determination and make love to it with commitment.”

IEEE MTTS student branch chapter chair Mr.Diwakar Agrawal from BSACET Mathuraparticipated in International Leadershipsummit IEEE WIE ILS scheduled at Goa from13 july 2017 -15 july 2017.Mr. Diwakar Agrawal stated that he had agood interaction with industry persons &other top management persons of variousindustries.He also enjoyed the other technical & nontechnical events & interacted with IEEEmembers across the country. He also sharedhis experience with other student branchmembers.

Our new biannualsupplement is designed especially for the readers who want to know the completeactivities of IEEE UP Section.

We want it to be very informative, at times contrary, but aboveall useful. Inside you’ll find a mixture of news, events,achievements, awards and regular columns on a wide range oftechnical topics. I hope you enjoy this first issue and do let usknow if there are any topics you’d like to see covered in thefuture.

XQuizIt!On 4th of October 2016 MIT IEEE STUDENT CHAPTER or IEEE (Institute of electronics and electrical society)organized an event named “XQuizIt!” The event took place at D-block, seminar hall from 2 pm onwards.Basically The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers is a professional association with its corporateoffice in New York City and its operations center in Piscataway, New Jersey. IEEE was formed in 1963 fromthe amalgamation of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers and the Institute of Radio Engineers. It isworld’s largest Association of Technical Professionals with more than 40000 members in chapter around theworld. Firstly, Dr. Pankaj Sharma under the guidance of Director General Dr. R.B.Saxena of MIT who formallywelcomed all the dignitaries on the dais and participants.
