The Dog Control Bylaw states that anyone who lets their pet run at large within the boundaries of the town is guilty of an offense and anyone who allows their pet to defecate on public or private property other than their own without removing

July's Monthly Newsletter:

The Canada Day Scavenger Hunt list was sent in the mail. French copies are available for pick up at the Souris Town Hall. The teams that have registered with the Souris Town Hall should be one their way to completing the hunt. The hunt shouldn’t take much longer than a couple of hours.Notice that we opened it up to couples and a small group of friends. The team’s name will be entered into a draw for some amazing prizes. If your team has members from different households then you may want to draw straws to see who will be taking the prize home.

Check over the list, gather the supplies needed. Once you complete the entire list, your team will then pass it into one of the workers at the Main Street Gazebo on Wednesday, July 1st no later than 3:00 pm. We will need your contact information and then you will receive a participation gift and your team name will then go into a draw for one of the GRAND PRIZES! (Outdoor firepit, 2 sets of zero gravity lawn chairs, badminton kit, set of Adirondack chairs and a barbeque grill.) The draw will be recorded and the winners will come to the Town Hall to pick up their prize.

THE SOURIS LEGION WILL RE-OPEN JULY 1st, at 11 AM.

The draw for the Legion Bingo Basket, a fund raiser to purchase a new Bingo machine, was held Friday June 19th. The winning ticket was drawn by Mayor Joanne Dunphy. The winner was Dianne MacDonald. Many thanks to everyone for your support.
