We're a group of authors banding together as a collective to help morally support one another as we venture off into self publishing

2. Why Self Publish?

While all of us have dreams of one day signing with a major publishing house, we also are excited about the actual creative process of publishing; everything from the cover to the formatting and the minor details that excite control freaks. For these current Malice stories, we are excited about keeping our own current word count without having to worry about publishing word limits as well as having say in everything from the title to cover design.

LANA SKY A paranormal erotica author that creates contracts

between her readers and characters binding them to

shamelessly love and wish they could trade their lives for a

moment in her stories

Lana is preparing to release her novel, Drain Me, a

paranormal erotica that is sure to leave her readers

emotionally drained and salivating for the sequel.

ABOUT DRAIN ME

Drain me is a story that I wrote solely with the idea in mind to tell a crazy story from the

point of view of the one person who would usually be overlooked. Ellies not the average

heroine. Shes meek and timid and stubborn and a little bit crazybut her unique point of

view is what made this story so incredibly fun to tell. Ellie was one of the hardest

characters Ive ever had the joy to writenot to mention Dublin. Im so excited to polish

up the final draft of their story and let them run wild.

about love and pastries, consequentially her readers may

Mira is currently finishing up her last round of editing for

her first novel, a contemporary standalone in the NA

genre, Almost Loved.

ABOUT ALMOST LOVED

How do you start explaining a story you

have spent countless, unreasonable

hours revising and obsessing over? But

that is what love is, isnt it? An

obsession of sorts that we all seem to

crave in some shape and form.

I started Almost Loved because I

wanted to explore a relationship after

the grand gesture of a kiss at a busy

train station or after we figure out the

love of our lives isnt dying. What

happens when the curtains fall? What

happens after we fall in love?

Almost Loved is about falling in love

and realising that we have to fight for

what we want even when it means

we might lose.

Falling in love is easy. Lyris loved him. Hale loved her.

But sometimes love isnt enough. This isnt a love story.

This is their story.

WHO ARE WE?

IMOGEN ISLES A paranormal NA author that dreams about the parallels

of life and death, wondering what threads ties us to earth

and which ones will lead her to Tom Hiddleson in this

lifetime.

Imogen is currently in the midst of completing Thread, her

first novel in her Kate Morian Series.

ABOUT THREAD

With a single touch, Emma Sinclair can

foresee a persons inevitable death and

you. Thread was that story for me. Zac and Emma are pieces of my soul and putting them

on the page to live and breathe, for everyone to get to know is like giving a stranger the key

to my heart. They are my heart. Theyre the very reason I chose to become a writer.

Previous to their story, I had toyed around with other characters and plots, but none of them

felt as authentic and as terrifying as Zac and Emma did. To be completely honest, I feared

them. For the longest time, I tried to bat them down and keep them locked in a cage away

from the scrutiny of the world, but then an unexpected situation rattled my core, and I was

struck with an epiphany. I couldnt let them rot away. They had a story to be told. One about

loss and love, but more so, Thread is about coming to terms with who you are and learning

to love wholeheartedly.

WHO ARE WE?

SIMONE COLEMAN A paranormal NA author who suffering from an identity

crisis (you might know her as Keevs). She likes to put her

characters (and readers) through hell, question their

sanity, take them to the brink of death and then sew them

back together again.

Simone is currently re-writing the first book in her Lycan

Revolution series.

ABOUT WILDFIRE

Wildfire began as an introduction to my Lycan/werewolf world and I never intended to

explore half of the plotlines I did in the first draft, but I fell in love with the darker elements it

touched upon, so I decided to go back, rewrite, and really get into those gritty qualities.

I think Wildfire is about vanquishing inner demons, both for me and my characters. I love

pushing my characters to the limit of what they can stand, breaking them, and then somehow

knitting them back together, and I think from that point of view, Wildfire is my darkest novel

so far.

When Paige witnesses a violent

shooting involving a fellow student,

all sense of caution is thrown out the

window. But as the mystery

surrounding the attack on Diego

begins to unfold, his secrets threaten

to tear her world apart at the seams.

Her mind is screaming at her to run

fastin the opposite direction

but what about her heart?

WHO ARE WE?

L.F GOODFELLOW An author rewriting her take on a psychological thriller in

the NA genre, with a topic that will pull at consciences and

test exactly how far people would go to keep what is

theirs.

L.F Goodfellow is currently rewriting her novel and is

hoping to query sometime in the new year.

ABOUT HIS TO KEEP

Someone once told me to be an author,

you must really go above, beyond and

maybe even a little insane. His to Keep

was a story that made me question my

sanity. The darkness of the story-line

became my obsession, a story that had to

be told. I wanted to explore how far I

could go and to really challenge myself.

His To Keep pushed me to a limit, starting

with a girl who is snatched by a priest and

forced to live in a house with his

murderous family. It soon turns into a

fight for survival and finding love in the

strangest of places. I poured everything I

had into it, now, I want to re-write this

book and bring it to the next level by really

fleshing out the characters and mustering

up more craziness.

Amen to innocence.

Ava is ripped from her life by a

sadistic priest who leads a sinister,

secret life.

She is forced to live in a room with his

son, trapped in a house of hell.

Day by day her innocence is torn

apart, but despite witnessing horrific

events, she finds herself caring for the

boy with dark secrets of his own...
