Our aim is to inspire children to be active and successful in sport. We will achieve this through working with others to create opportunities to get involved in sport, to stay

in sport and to succeed in sport at every level.

We will work to raise standards in PE and sport. We will develop and utilise the potential for PE and

sport and be a driver for the national citizenship initiative.

We will harness the motivating power of sport to engage all students, to promote social inclusion and

develop leadership qualities.

Teaching and learning in PE and sport will be a catalyst for development impacting on student attitudes

and self esteem and teaching and learning styles.

We will work closely with the family of schools and the wider community.

We will promote the shared development and transfer of good practice which will raise standards and

increase participation across the partnership.

The result will be increased participation at all ages and a heightened awareness of PE and sport in life

long learning.
