Escapism doesn’t solve your problem. You can escape from your problems for a while but not forever. Hiding out in your enemy’s territory only brings temporary relief but not eternal solution. How we handle our tough times stay with us for a long time. It shapes our character and determines what kind of person we will become.

Take a pause and inquire of the Lord

What Would Jesus Do (WWJD)?

Give thanks in all circumstancesBe joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for

you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

(3) Don’t Give up

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that

hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right

hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not

grow weary and lose heart. (Hebrews 12:1-3)

Devil’s lie – Easier said than done

God says – Just one more time
