Buenos Aires is the capital and the largest city of

Argentina. It is situated in the east of the country on

the shores of the Rio de la Plata estuary. The city

was founded in 1536 by Spanish explorer Pedro de

Mendoza. It is a centre for culture with a famous

opera house and numerous museums, arts centres

and galleries.

Tallinn is the capital and the largest city of Estonia.

It has a population of around 415,000 people and is

situated in the north-west of the country on the Gulf

of Finlend. The main tourist attractions are the

medieval old town with its ancient city wall,

cobblestone streets and gothic church spires and the

Estonian open Air Muzeum.
