L i s a G r o o m s

Here it is June already, needless to say the next two months are going to

be extremely tough, so I will apologize now. As many of you may

know, Butch’s birthday would have been June 6th, it will be our first

birthday without him, and we miss him so much. The cruise ins just

don’t seem the same without him. It is also election time and if this is

my last letter as Vice President, just let me say it has been an honor and

privilege to hold this position, I know that at times my mind and heart

just hasn’t been there but I so appreciate all of you for what you have

done for our family.

Speaking of cruise ins, WOW, the attendance has been wonderful and

the vendors seem to be working out thus far. I really appreciate all that

everyone is doing to make our cruise ins the best they can be. As al-

ways, recommendations/suggestions are welcomed. The only issue that

I have seen or should I say heard are the “squealing of the tires” when

some are leaving. If you see any of this type of behavior, take note. I

will be giving out a small reminder card to all to let them know that this

type of behavior will not be tolerated. I hate to do that, but I feel this is

an excellent location for us and we don’t need to hurt our relationship

with Kmart.

The annual HCCC picnic will be on Sunday, June 12th at the home of

Don McGinnis. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be supplied by the club.

Please contact Theresa Blanken for other items needed. I will be doing a

special balloon release in Butch’s memory to honor his birthday.

Again, I just want all of you to know how much I appreciate what you do

and have done; this club has been a true blessing to me and my family.

Much love and happiness!

Lisa

The Hamblen County Car Club

It wasn’t that long ago that Bobby Greenlee (HCCC member), a Morris-

town resident with more than 35 years experience in the automotive in-

dustry, discovered car owners of Morristown needed an auto repair

show they could trust. They needed a mechanic that would do great

work for an affordable price. One last element missing from many

shops in the area was just good old fashioned customer service!

The Budget Auto Clinic opened in west Morristown in June 2015 and

customers can’t stop raving well they are treated when they bring their car in. The business is located at 3915 West

Andrew Johnson Highway. Common Services Provided Included: Lube, oil & filter, brake replacement and repair,

A/C repair and servicing, shock & strut replacement, transmission overhaul, engine overhaul, steering and suspension

and general tune-up.

Bobby and his wife Ruth have been married for 13 years, they have four children and three grandchildren.
