from especially Beijing, the
North China region, the North-
east China Region and the East
China Region came together in
May 2018 for the TopWine China
International Exhibition and
Conference (TWC) in Beijing.
The exhibition was a true
representation of the global
wine market with many inter-
national country pavilions and
once again the show confirmed
to be an unrivalled business
platform to get contact with
high-calibre wine traders from
China. On the first day 3.706
visitors attended the show, on the
second day the number was 4.404
and on the final day 2.607 visitors
came to TWC. What an event it was!
And what a pleasure it was for the
exhibitors to discuss and share
so many exciting wines with such
an engaged audience!
TopWine China celebrates its 10th Anniversary in 2019 from 4 to 6 June in all four halls of the China National Convention Centre with a line-up of inter-national wines second to none. As always the show will be exclusively devoted to wine professionals and will be entirely focused on making business. Being the only international wine exhibition in Beijing in 2019, the organisers predict an increase of at least 20% of the number of visitors compared to 2018. The demand for high quality wines is constantly growing in Beijing and the north of China. Resulting in more trade visitors eager to source new wines, and consumers who want to develop their wine knowledge by attending workshops and masterclasses.
The size of the Chinese wine market is notably large, making the benefits of entering China’s wine market undeniable. According to the latest China wine market statistics, the country is expected to generate US$24,022 million in 2018. Analysts expect the figure to grow by 5.0% every year.
