EUCHARIST

Father Robert Barron’s in-depth study on the Eucharist, the “source and summit of the Christian

life.” [CCC 1324] Over the course of this study, we will examine three

important aspects of this inexhaustibly rich Sacrament: the Eucharist as sacred meal, as

sacrifice, and as real presence. These elements unite the Church across time and unite us to our fellow

Catholics in every sacred liturgy.

Educating early adolescents with God in mind

At Nashua Catholic we have been educating young teenagers

for 45 years. We understand more than ever that these years

are critical to the positive spiritual, social and emotional for-

mation of each individual teenager. From a “real” life skill

perspective, these are the years young teenagers learn

problem-solving skills, make mistakes, resolve conflicts, and

build a sense of confidence. At Nashua Catholic, the founda-

tional connection of all that we do is Jesus Christ and his

presence in our curriculum, chapel, our Masses and Eucharis-

tic adoration. If you or someone you know are considering

where to enroll a young adolescent for 7-8th grade, check out

our website www.ncrjhs.org or schedule a tour with us by

calling 603-882-7011. Financial Aid is available.

Join the Knights For Their 2019 Golf Outing

The Knights of Columbus would like to invite parish golfers to join them in their annual golf outing.

The event is a nine hole “Best Ball” golf outing and will be held at Hidden Creek, 17 Morgan Road in Litchfield.

The course can be walked or you can elect to take a cart. The course is compact but still challenging, attractive

and well maintained. The date has been set for Wednesday, June 26 with tee offs staring at 9:45 AM. Parishion-

ers, family and friends are welcome to join us but we, unfortunately, cannot accommodate young children. Partic-

ipants can meet in the club house afterwards to buy their drink and meal and discuss their outstanding play.

The event cost for nine holes is:

$26 walking, $37 riding for a non-senior

$19 walking, $30 riding for a senior (60+)

You pay the green fee directly to the course on the day of the event.

This is not a competition or fundraiser; it’s just a fun event on a June morning in a beautiful setting. If interested,

call 669-7444 and leave the names of the participants and a contact e-mail address. Space is limited so please call

as soon as you can.
