Getting to the David BHow to Find Us

The David B will be docked at the Intermediate Vessel Float (IVF),

just south of the Mount Roberts Tram and next to the Taku Smokery. The entrance to the dock is at the far southern corner and beside Taku Smokery.

What to DoWelcome to JuneauJuneau is located on the steep eastern side of Gastineau Channel and is the Capitol City of Alaska. It was founded in 1880 by Joe Juneau and Richard Harris who had been sent to the area to prospect for gold. Mining for gold was the dominant industry in Juneau until the 1940s.

Juneau has lots to offer. In town you can visit the Alaska State Museum, take a tram ride to Mount Roberts and enjoy native storytelling or hiking trails. If you have time you can head out of town a few miles and visit Mendenhall Glacier.

Getting to Juneau is easy. Alaska Airlines offers daily flights from Seattle.
