JUNIOR INSTRUCTIONSThe big craft

To remind the children that heroes rely on God in the good times [mountaintops] and the bad times [valleys].

Tiny Town Craft / Jam City Craft printed, green paper [some light green and some dark green], scissors, glue.

Cut the mountain shapes from two different shades of green paper using the template.

Give each child a “Mountains and Valleys” page. Help them to use a little glue to stick some green mountain shapes on their page and then they can colour the sky and words using crayons or pencils.

EXPLANATION: When things are going great or a significant event happens in ourlives, it’s like we’re at the top of a mountain. It’s how you feel when you finish a race, receive an award or blow out the candles on your birthday cake. God gives us some pretty fantastic moments and seasons in our life, we need to remember to praise God and thank Him! No matter what’s happening in our lives, good or bad, we can praise our father in heaven. Heroes rely on God in the good times and the bad.
