Creation and History

• YLC client story behind the creation

• Just Beginning Started in 2008 with threecounties in California.

• Has expanded to 12 facilities, includingfacilities in Connecticut, Texas and Ohio.

• To date, over 200 youth have graduated fromthe program and over 30 staff have beentrained.

• Ensure that the children of fathers in the JustBeginning Program (Baby Elmo) have twoactive involved parents that workcooperatively together to support and nurturethe healthy development of their child.
