BEM/BEL SERIESEndless Glass Door Merchandisers

With 16 basic modules in medium and low temp, endless merchandisers are designed to fit most any space. They can be used as stand-alone models or combined for a continuous line up.

Endless merchandisers are available with either a remote or self-contained refrigeration system depending on sales space requirements.

BEM/BEL models with remote systems reduce heat and noise on the sales floor and are usually preferred in areas where roof installation is not an issue.

Endless BEM/BEL-SC models offer a self- contained refrigeration system for quick and easy installation in areas where space is limited and roof access isn't practical.

than standard motors and introduce less heat inside the cold space

Quick Ship Refrigeration OptionsQuick Ship refrigeration system choices include remote M-Series systems or PRS-2 packaged systems with standard and heavy-duty options.

Remote systems consist of an M-Series condensing unit ranging from 1/4 to 6 HP and an E-Series evaporator coil. Pre-wired condens-ing unit components are factory assembled on a galvanized steel base. E-Series coils are ready to mount and are available in off-cycle defrost for coolers and electric defrost for freezers.

PRS-2 Series refrigeration systems consist of a condensing unit and evaporator coil in the same housing and are ready to mount in the ceiling. The evaporator section mounts flush in a standard 4" thick panel for maximum storage space. PRS-2 units help reduce labor costs be-cause there’s no piping or other components to field install. MASTER-CHILL Roll-In & Pass-Thru Blast Chillers Poor cooling techniques are a major cause of foodborne illness. To avoid contamination, food must be cooled through the danger zone of 140°F to 40°F in less than four hours.

Master-Chill MCR-33 models can blast through this range in as little as 80 minutes depending on food density, input temperature and refrigeration size. This rapid chilling also retains food quality, extends shelf life and saves labor by reducing food preparation time. A standard micropro-cessor control unit with LED readouts provides continuous and accurate temperature monitor-ing. The internal food temperature is detected by probes so you know for sure when food is out of the danger zone.

MRS Series Modular Multi- Compressor Refrigeration SystemsRemoting all refrigerated equipment in an establishment, including reach-ins, walk-ins and ice machines, to a single MRS system removes the heat produced by multiple refrigeration units from kitchens or stores and reduces air condi-tioning loads and energy bills. The MRS system, typically roof-mounted, also reduces noise level, service calls and extends the life of equipment.

ST Optional Master Controller Reverse Cycle Defrost For Walk-insThe Master Controller Reverse Cycle Defrost (MCRCD) system is a custom-designed eletronic controller for Master-Bilt walk-in cooler and freezer refrigeration systems. The Master Controller board, mounted on an evaporator, controls an electric expansion valve in response to evaporator superheat and return air temperature. Integrated reverse cycle defrost completely removes frost build-up in coils and works much faster than electric defrost heaters.

Reverse cycle defrost, works by means of a reverse cycle valve added to the condensing unit.

The valve's function is to reverse the direction of refrigerant flow during defrost. When the Master Controller’s demand defrost determines a defrost is necessary, the reverse cycle valve is activated and the high temperature refriger-ant flow is reversed. The refrigerant flows back through the evaporator coil heating it along its entire length and completely eliminating frost build-up.

Reverse cycle technology offers several significant advantages over the electric defrost method:• The process uses less energy than electric de-

frost heaters. Reverse cycle reduces defrost energy usage by up to 80%.

• Reverse cycle eliminates not only the need for defrost heaters, but also head pressure control

• Defrost time is also greatly shortened. The average time using electric defrost heaters is 20-30 minutes. Reverse cycle can perform a completely “clean” defrost in as little as 3 to 5 minutes in a freezer or 11/2 to 2 minutes in a cooler.

Reverse Cycle Defrost reverses the direction of refrigerant flow for a quick and “clean” defrost.
