CAREER OBJECTIVE: Obtain a challenging position in a competitive and growth oriented environment where

engineering skills and knowledge can be utilized and built upon.

EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science in Engineering – Industrial & Systems Engineering

East Carolina University, Greenville, North Carolina– May 2014 Accredited by “The Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET”

ENGINEERING SKILLS: CPS Certified Six Sigma Green Belt Process/Standard Work Creation Safety FMEA Process FMEA Electromechanical System Design Introduction Sensors, Controls, and Measurements Signals and Systems Thermal and Fluid System Introduction

ENGINEERING PROJECTS: Caterpillar Inc: Worked as a team member to complete process FMEA’s for each

assembly process. Once risks were identified work began to prioritize and implement process improvements to reduce the risk of a defect reaching the end customer.

Caterpillar Inc: Worked as a team member to complete safety FMEA’s for each assembly process. Once risks were identified work began to prioritize and implement changes to reduce safety risk throughout the assembly process.

Caterpillar Inc: Completed operation guides for the assembly process that included processes for the use of detail oriented assembly methods.

Caterpillar Inc: Used six sigma principles as a green belt on a team to improve large differential assembly. Improvements included a 30% reduction in cycle time which allowed production to meet takt time. Line balancing reduced the feet walked per build from roughly 11,500 ft to 4500 ft. Multiple safety risk to be eliminated or mitigated. Total annual savings equaled $228k.

Caterpillar Inc: Was a key member involved in a project to eliminate the outsourcing of work to an overseas department. The end result of this project was to bring the work back in house which is currently done by myself and 2 other team members. We successfully took over for the roles 12 employees had overseas and saved roughly 474K per year for the facility.

Key Responsibilities: Work directly with suppliers to implement new fixturing, lift devices, and tools for

the assembly process Identify safety risk within the assembly process and implement corrective action Provide reactive shop floor support based on the operation needs Work with in VPPA and SAP systems to implement engineering changes, standard

work updates, and new routing creation Develop new processes for incoming products or changes to existing product Complete certified builds for new products and new process implementation. Filter torque data to determine Cpk and investigate quality issues Participate as a six sigma green belt in value stream transformations to improve the

assembly process Address safety/quality/velocity/cost issues and implement corrective action to prevent

future issues. Apply lean principles such as Kaizen, line balancing, value stream mapping, etc. to

improve process efficiencies. Implement corrective action for all quality events including in house quality defects

as well as field failure reports from customers. Remain very customer focused and limit the impact or pain that is felt by the

customer in all ways possible. Integrity Staffing: Chattanooga, Tennessee
