o Involved in raised funds and oversaw the renovation of Characterization Facilities, 2014.

o Raised funds, acquired, and oversaw the installation new state-of-the-art, aberration-corrected FEI G2 60-300kV FEG Scanning and Transmission Electron Microscope (STEM) equipped with monochromator, new generation EELS and EDX spectrometers. The STEM will be fully operational and open for users since June 2013, 2011-2013.

o Raised funds and oversaw the room renovation for new state-of-the-art, aberration-corrected FEI G2 60-300kV STEM, 2012-2013.

o Raised funds and acquired new advanced plasma cleaner for TEM specimens and specimen holders, 2012.

o Raised funds and acquired new specialized TEM specimen holder for in-situ heating and electrical measurements with atomic resolution, 2011.

o Led search and hire of two technical support specialists to support Electron Microscopy efforts: Dr. Jason Myers and Michael Dupont, 2011.

o Acquired two new Oxford Instruments EDX (x-ray) systems for FEI Technai T12 and JEOL TEMs, 2010.

o Raised funds and acquired new caustic vibrations isolating system for FEI Technai F30 S-TEM, 2010.

o Raised funds and built TEM specimen cleaning chamber. This high-vacuum chamber provides ultra-clean samples for TEMs, 2009-2010.
