1. Matching Sock sorting and matching Items needed: basket and old socks Give the child a basket of different kinds of socks and have child sort and match the socks to make pairs 6. Space We Going on A Bear Hunt Items needed: The song Bear Hunt Play the song Bear Hunt. Then let class act out the song by going act if the going across the bridge, climbing up a tree, going through the cave and etc. 2. Numbers Numbers Grab Bag Items needed: index cards, paper bag, and pennies for counters Write numbers 1-10 into index cards, fold index cards and place the folded cards in to the brown paper bag . Let child pick number from bag and have child count out the amount of pennies for that number. 7. Part/Whole What is Missing Items needed: toys with missing parts(ex. Car, truck, doll, etc.) Show the child each toy and see if child could tell you what is missing. 3. Classifying Sink or Float Items needed: a collection of all kind of objects made from different materials Ask students which objects would flow in water and which ones would sink in water. Fill the water table with water and place each object one at a time in water to see which objects floated and which ones sink. Made a chart to show your findings. 8.
