Learn the unique hard, soft style of Seven Star Praying Mantis Kung Fu from Master Jon Funk of Vancouver B.C., a direct 8th generation descendant of the Seven Star Praying Mantis founder, Wang Lang. During this one-day seminar learn the form Da Gai Shyh (Big Gesture Form) from the Shinny Board style of Northern Mantis. We will also cover the devastating techniques and highly effec-tive principles of praying mantis kung fu, in addition to the skills of trapping and joint locking. Seven Star Praying Mantis Kung Fu is a highly effective system for both men and women of all sizes and abilities. Students of all skill levels are welcome.
Master Funk has over fifty years of martial arts experience and is a direct 8th generation descendant in the Wong Hon Fun clan from the founder of Seven Star Praying Mantis Kung Fu, Wong Long and is 9th degree certified by the World Organization of Wushu Kung Fu Masters.
