We’ve sent out over 100 sacks full of warm woolies so far, thanks to your support. There is no deadline for this appeal; whilst the need is urgent, we will keep sending consignments when we have enough kning and the funds to pay for transport. If you can spare a lile money towards the transportaon costs that would be a big help. Why not ask friends and relaons to sponsor your kning. Knit-In for Peace Join us for a Knit-In for Peace at the Barbican Centre 5th December Come along and knit, crochet, chat and learn. Bring your regular kning/crochet buddies or kning group and have your Christmas meeng with us. Offer to help teach beginners, or to run a workshop on a parcular skill or p you’d like to share - maybe you are a sock-genius, brilliant at colour-work or double-kning, if so we’d like to hear from you. We already have some excing offers and Jane Crowfoot will also be giving a talk/demo. We are happy for people to just come and knit what they like, but we’ll be encouraging people who are learning to knit for the first me to knit up a square to be made into a blanket for our Refugee Appeal or a dressing gown for our Keep Britain Warm appeal.
