FROM OUR PASTOR James 1:27 tells us, “Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.” Living for God and caring about others is a concise description of the Christian life. This past Sunday was WMU Sunday. Our ladies invited Micah Lee, from the Baptist Children Homes, to be our guest speaker. House parents, Brian and Iris Finley brought a group of teens to visit us from the Children’s Home in Thomasville, NC. We have the opportunity to reach out to the BCH in Thomasville, and make them a hands-on mission of our church. Let’s adopt a house, and minister to teens who need to know that there is a group of believers who cares about them. Let’s do this!

This is a reminder that the primary elections are on Tuesday, March 3rd, from 6:30am to 7:30pm at your assigned precinct. Due to Kerr being an election site, the Fellowship Hall will be closed March 2nd-March 4th.
