AIS 46, Advent Age Project Awarded Interactors, distinguished themselves itself by winning accolades in the award ceremony hosted by the Rotary club, Gurgaon and NCR 3010. The event was indeed a moment of pride for the students, when they were fe-licitated at the Darbar Hall of Hotel The Taj, Dhaula kuan, Delhi, at a grand thanks giving celebration cere-mony "SALAAM" .Their project "AdventAge " was awarded as the best initiative taken by the students in the district. Aiming project aimed at the promotion of mental and physical health
of the geriatrics in the society through organising awareness cam-paigns, heath check-ups, yogathons, and partnering with old age homes and NGO’s. School principal Mrs. Arti cho-pra congratulated the students on their noteworthy achievement.
Stya Paul Memorial Maths Quest – 2015 We feel proud by winning the Overall Championship trophy at the Dr. Stya Paul Memorial Mathematics Quest on 30
th July,2015. The event, Math Quest was held at Apeejay School, Saket. The event witnessed an over-zealous par-
ticipation 22 reputed schools from Dellhi-NCR. Students from Classes 2 to class 12 took part in mind boggling inno-
vative competitions namely Exploring shapes (class 2) ,
Pattern-o-metry (Class 3) ,Relay race (Classes 4-7,) Maths
Quiz (Class10) ,Mathematical Modelling(Class4-
7) ,Symposium(class12). Out of Six Competitions, we won
in four events .Young mathematicians bagged first posi-
tion in Exploring shapes & Relay Race .In pattern –o-
metry & Mathematical Modelling the school participants
secured second position and hence qualifying for overall
championship trophy of the event. School Principal, Mrs.
Arti Chopra congratulated the winners and applauded
the efforts of the students.

Class Presentations
KALEIDOSCOPE- vibrant hues of guiding values—Class VII Students participated in a class presentation which was School principal, Mrs. Arti Chopra welcomed the guests and the parents for the presentation. The chief guests for the day, were Ms Mukta ,Vice Principal of AIS-Lucknow, Ms Anshu Arora and the parents inau-gurated the event by lighting of the lamp of knowledge. 100% participation by the students gave opportunity to each child to showcase their talent and creativity. The audience was also sensitized about the issues presented by the students. The event was initiated with a musical Instrumental presentation by class VII students. The keen learners of class VII presented a colorful vibrant show ‘KALEIDOSCOPE- hues of guiding values’ depicting the various values they learn in school .The children presented yoga, dances, songs and street play showcasing their speaking skills. Heritage display on the state Chhattis-garh, got an overwhelming response from the parents as it contained differ-ent art pieces of the state. Dedication of the students made the event successful.

CCFIS Cyber Awareness Workshop on―Ethical Hacking and Cyber Forensics‖
Amity Innovation Incubator has established a research lab “Center for Cyber Forensics and Information Security (CCFIS) as part of Amity Edu-cation Group. CCFIS is presently working at Amity University Cam-pus, Noida and extending various Cyber Security and Forensic Services conducted CCFIS Cyber Awareness Workshop on “Ethical Hacking and Cyber Forensics” . The workshop started with an introduction of the
activities taken up by the Center for Cyber Forensics and Information Security (CCFIS), an initiative of Amity Innovation Incubator. Principal Arti Chopra inau-gurated the “CCFIS Center of Excellence” at Amity International School,Gurgaon and launched two on-line portals “CCFIS eProtect” and “CCFIS eForum” and services for AIS-46 students, staff and faculty members. The eProtectportal wherein students can register complains on incidents like Cyber Harassment, Cyber Bullying, Cyber Stalking, also lost Data Recovery cases. Action will be taken immediately. The eForumportal wherein stu-dents can register for login and can take part in discussion, start a new topic, troubleshooting issues, get informa-tion and updates related to Information Security and Digital Forensics.The awareness sessions were conducted by a team of experts from CCFIS, Noida, comprising of Mr. Lakshay Malhotra&MrHarshit (Manager–Information Security). Students of class XI and faculty members were invited to attend the sessions on Cyber Security.
Workshop on Multiple Intelligen-
ces A riveting workshop on multiple intelligences was conducted by the school principal, Mrs. Arti Chopra in the school premises ,which helped the teachers in further enhancing their role as a mentor in a classroom. It would anable the teachers to understand all the eight multiple intelligences and create relevant learning at-mosphere in the classroom. Mrs. Arti emphasised on the theory of Dr. Howard
Gardner, which states that each human being possesses eight multiple intelligences. She said that generally in schools the culture is to focus most of their attention on linguistic and logical-mathematical intelligence. Instead we should also place equal attention on individuals who show gifts in the other intelligences: the artists, archi-tects, musicians, naturalists, designers, dancers, therapists, entrepreneurs, and others who enrich the world in
TERI VISIT Students of class VIII were taken for a field visit to TERI GRAM. Visit was interesting and quite informative. They showed the earth tunnel system that is enabling the maintenance of a temperature of around 22 to 25 degree celsius in 15 rooms using a single fan. They explained the process of energy conservation and also showed the bio gas producer. They were shown the vermi compost pit and many medicinal plants and de-scribed their role in daily life. Students were made to understand the process of plant tissue culture and demonstrated the technique using a banana variety. They took students to a green house to enable the cor-relate their conceptual understanding with practical learning. A documentary was shown to students in the beginning to enable them understand the working in different regions of TERI.

The path of Possibilities Ishita Singh of class 8, bagged the first prize in Under 16 category and run-ners up trophy in Under 14 category for Talent series, The National Rank-ing Tournament organized by AITA ( All India Tennis Association) held at Passerine Sports Academy. Gurgaon’s rising tennis star Ishita Singh lived up to her top billing as the youngster made it a double joy in AITA Super Talent Series tennis tournament played in Gurgaon. School Principal, Mrs. Arti Chopra lauded the achievements of the young star and motivated her for her future endeavours.
Girls Cricket Tournament
Girls Cricket Team of Amity International School, Sector 46, Gurgaon lifted the Tro-phy for winning the second position at District Girls Cricket tournament (Under 19) held at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Gurgaon. The tournament got off to a flying start with the Chief Guest,Mr. Shekhar Taneja declaring the tournament open. 21st April,2015, saw a fine display of cricketing skills when 6 school teams played league matches .

Expanding Horizons
GEOMATY-2015, held at AIS NOIDA where forty schools from the NCR participated in the daylong event School chose the country South Korea. Twenty eight students from classes IV to XI participated in all eight events which included folk dance, poster making, dance drama, face painting, cuisine preparation, Map making & quiz, webography and extempore. We bagged prizes in two categories out of eight events. Young chefs bagged sec-ond prize in the South Korean cuisine category. For face painting, students again bagged the second prize for painting ‘Lynx’, a South Korean animal. Overall, it was a good learning experience for students to.

Math Amity / Vasudha ' Vasudha' a program being implemented in all Amity schools under the guidance and motivation of our visionary chairperson Dr. Amita Chauhan. Quality improve-ment and then winning international awards has always been the aim of all Ami-tians. Amity International School gurgaon sec-46 conducted a remarkable Science Ex-hibition called Vasudha, a program implemented under the guidance and motiva-tion of our Chairperson Dr. Amita Chauhan, on 31st july 2015.The exhibition was successful in serving its purpose by igniting a spirit of inquiry, developing out of box thinking capacities, logical thinking and scientific temper amongst children The focal theme of the projects undertaken this time was ‘Understanding weather and Climate’ The exercises of project activities as a thumb rule, encourage the children to explore, think, serve and wonder. The projects displayed by students on the theme weather and climate were Innovative, simple and practi-cal,Representing teamwork,based on exploration of everyday life-situations,Involving Experimentation and/or field based data collection arrived through scientific methodology Students made phenomenal models and charts to present their topics. The preliminary screening of projects is
done by the parent judges .Amitians presenting various innovative Math Amity.....Unleasing creativity , giving
