THINGS TO KNOW:We can’t wait to welcome your Kamper to Summer 2020 at Kanakuk! From bouncing off the blob to flying down the zipline, we know that a summer of fun is just what your child needs!

Your child’s health safety is our #1 priority at Kanakuk, and in response to COVID-19, we’re asking for your partnership with us in the following areas:

• SELF-QUARANTINE: To help prevent the introduction of COVID-19 in Kamp, we’re asking all Kampers to self-quarantine for 14 days. Additional details can be found on the Health Screening Form, which will be mailed to you in advance of your Kamper’s term at Kanakuk. Generally, self-quarantine involves avoiding large groups and exposure to non-family members.

• TEMPERATURE CHECK: All Kampers must check and record their temperature on the Health Screening Form for seven days prior to their arrival at Kamp.

• GET READY FOR FUN: Be sure to review important instructions and updates for this Summer online at kanakuk.com/2020. This includes important changes to Kamper drop-off and pick-up procedures for Summer 2020.

Last Minute Reminders!

As we work to make our Kamps as safe as possible, we’ve streamlined our drop-off procedures for Summer 2020 and will not allow families to enter main Kamp facility areas during Summer 2020.

Upon arrival, our friendly, professional staff will bring all the excitement you’ve come to expect from Kanakuk as they check-in your Kamper, collect their Health Screening Form, and take their temperature—all from the comfort of your vehicle! Next, our awesome luggage guys will unload your Kamper’s luggage, and get them ready for the BEST SUMMER EVER at Kanakuk!

This streamlined drop-off procedure for Summer 2020 will welcome Kampers during two windows, available by last name:

Last names starting with A-M: Arrive between 2-3 pm. Last names starting with N-Z: Arrive between 3-4 pm.

If you have Kampers at Kamps in both Branson and Lampe, simply arrive as soon as you’re able—we’ll be ready for you!

VEHICLE ONLY DROP-OFF

Prior to your Kamper’s term at Kanakuk, you’ll receive Kamp-specific luggage tags by mail. Please write your Kamper’s name in the space provided and affix to your Kamper’s luggage. Most families choose to send their Kamper’s luggage to Kamp in a trunk, but a large duffle bag works, too! Please note that trunks must be no taller than 15.5” to fit under cabin bunks.

LUGGAGE

K-West activities must be scheduled online prior to your Kamper’s arrival. Please confirm your Kamper’s schedule to ensure specialtyand elective activity selections are correct. Should any changes be required, they must be made prior to arriving at Kamp.Confirm your schedule at MyKanakuk.com.

PARTIES

Kampers love letters, but during Summer 2020 we’re asking for your partnership by refraining from bringing or sending packages to your Kamper in response to our COVID-19 Health and Protection Plan.

PACKAGES

Please note: All Kampers must fly home on Friday. Recommended flight timesare after 2 pm to ensure your Kamper does not miss any final day activities,

but any flight departing at 9 am or after is acceptable.

If you have Kampers at both Branson and Lampe Kamps, we ask that you startwith the earlier pick-up time first. Times listed are when pick-up begins,

and we’ll make sure your Kamper is ready for you upon your arrival.

Our streamlined Kamper Pick-Up will occur on the last Friday morning of your Kamper’s term during the times listed to the left.

Upon arrival, our staff will load your Kamper’s luggage into your vehicle as you prepare to be reunited with your Kamper — the most anticipated moment of closing day! Beginning June 1, secure your Kamper’s spot for Summer 2021 at Kanakuk2021.com and stop by one of our convenient drive-thru QuickEnroll stations during pick-up to receive an exclusive Kanakuk blanket as our gift to you!

During Summer 2020, Kamper Character Awards will take place during Kamp, and will be recorded and emailed to you along with your Kamper’s term video and an encouraging message from Dr. Joe White, President of Kanakuk Ministries.

From bumps and bruises to administering medication, Kanakuk

Health Centers are staffed with friendly medical professionals including an on-site physician and two registered

nurses who are prepared to care for Kampers 24-hours a day.

Kamper safety is our #1 priority at Kanakuk and our Health Centers

are one of the many ways we ensure Kampers have an excellent experience.

Traveling to Kamp

Our dedicated Transportation Team is here to help you plan your Kamper’s

transportation needs.

If your Kamper will be flying to Kamp, we recommend Adelman Travel, our trusted

travel partner for over 18 years. “One Call Does It All” as shuttle services are automatically confirmed when booking
