What is Project Graduation? *Project Graduation (not to be confused with Senior Project or Graduation Fees), is a celebration for graduating seniors in a drug-free, safe environment. It starts right after graduation and ends the next morning when parents pick up their graduates. It takes alot of money, and WE NEED YOUR HELP to earn it! All seniors and families enrolling are expected to participate in fund-raising efforts. Otherwise, parents will pay the entire cost of the event (approx. $350 each). This fun night will provide memories to last a lifetime ☺ !

PCNC’s Corner Dear Kalaheo Parents,

"Make A Difference Day" -- October 20th, was a success. We finished all our projects in record time.

Cadets from our Navy JROTC and Student Government (ASK) worked hard (mahalo kids!!). Our neighbors down the street, First Assembly of God Kailua, with Pastor Dexter Bambera, brought us lunch, a wheelbarrow and are fixing the Mustang Pride sign. Our 14 new friends from Marine Corps Base Hawaii-Kaneohe Bay (thank you Amy Solomon) took care of the mulch pile behind the Café. Covering erosion areas and student gathering areas

Students and K-Bay Marines painted two bathrooms in A Bldg. Heliconia from Doris' Tai-tano's "work place readiness class were planted in front of the student parking lot. Trash was picked up, and the Café had its Mustang logo and "letter I" repainted.

Thank you PTSA for funding this and parents who came to work.

Aloha,

Meg Barth Gammon
