General membership meeting –July 9, 2016 ~12pm at the Lodge. The board recommends 2 new By law changes. Nominations for the Board of Directors: Roy Bayes Lot #101, Ken Jackson Lot 287, John Jones Lot #148, Steve Moore Lot 20, Kevin Steggeman Lot 128. Due to the resignation of Tom Holmes and Judy Oldfather there is 2 2-year positions open and 3 3-year positions. Bounce Houses will be here on July 2 and 3 we need volunteers to man the houses. See the Moore’s at lot 20. Board Meeting will be held the 2nd Saturday of every month at 9 am at the Lodge. May thru November.

motorized vehicles Keep our children safe

If you are doing 10mph speed limit dust will not follow you. Please help to keep the dust down. Adults talk to your children, we want them to have fun but also safe. Four wheelers are not supposed to be on the roads driving around and around only to and from the trails. Keep them off the grass areas too.

Every Friday- 9am Coffee and Donuts at the Lodge July 2 – Chicken Bar-B-Q dinner ~pick up from 4-5 pm ~ $8 pre-sale and $10 day of event. ½ Chicken, Bake beans, Macaroni Salad and Roll. Contact John & Cathy Jones at Maintenance trailer, Terri Bayes Lot 101 and Beth Moore Lot 20. We will hold the dinner down by the Maintenace trailer. July 3th ~ ~ KAL 3nd Annual Golf cart Putt Putt Run from 2pm till 5pm – Sign up at Lot 281 Dave Schmitt until 1:30 7/3/16 ~$5 per person. There will be a $20 winner for the kids 10 and below. Winner with the lowest score wins ½ of the pot, in case of a tie, pot will be split and the other half goes to Social committee!**** volunteers are needed to sponsor a hole. September 13 Ladies’ day out - Mimis Indian Lake – leaving at 11:00 am. We will also be selling T-Shirts (orders need to be turned in with money-$12.00~sm thur 4X~ by July 11, 2016) and doing a Lot Lottery selling only 80 tickets for $10.00 ea. See a Social Committee Officer. ***Due to so many food allergies - all children under 18 need to have an adult present at KAL functions where food is served.

Lot #224 Ray & Kathleen Shilt

David Lee Groves, 66, of North Lewisburg, passed away Monday, June 6, 2016 in Eaglewood Village, Springfield with his family. He was born September 10, 1949. Graduate of West Liberty-Salem High School. served in the United States Army as a combat medic. Retired from Honda after 20yrs of service. He was the maintenance man at KAL campground. He loved his family and friends and he will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Dave is survived by his wife, Brenda; his children, Hollie, Jamie, Clint and Tony; his grandchildren, Taylor, Tanner, Avery, Nevah ,Carson and Ashton; in addition to his beloved dog, "Bug." Memorial contributions are respectfully requested to Kindred at Home Hospice, Dayton at 7887 Washington Village Dr. #135, Dayton, OH 45459 and Disabled American Veterans at 35 E Chestnut St # 412, Columbus, OH 43215.
