KANNADA RAJYOTSAVA CELEBRATION The very essence of peace, harmony and integrity of any country will be projected through efficient governance and definitely this would be a time to rejoice, show reverence to all the leaders in its making. November 1 st is one such proud day for the people of Karnataka, Kannada Rajyotsava Day. At NPS, Kengeri, the Kannada Department had trained students for a variety of cultural programme under the theme KAVI NAMANA - A tribute to Kannada poets. Each programme was designed in such a way that it reflected the great invaluable works of the yester poets and the poets of present times too. The programme included dance drama, songs, short skits, dance etc. The chief guest for the programme is JARAGANAHALLI SHIVASHANKAR (poet) who expressed his appreciation wholeheartedly. He also felt that this was the trust way of saluting the great works of these literary scholars. The programme ended with the state song (Nada Geethe). This event brought to light, many of the literary uniqueness found in Kannada language.
