Need help managing your KS-TRAIN
account?
TRAIN has several tutorials available: learn how to set up
and update your KS-TRAIN User Profile, how to search
for courses you want, and how to find certificates or
withdraw from courses.
https://www.train.org/tutorials/
REGISTRATIONS ON KS-TRAIN ARE REQUIRED
Participants that need to attend any of our KDEM trainings will need to
create a user account on www.train.org/ks to register. Using this site,
participants can ensure that our office has access to their most up-to-
date contact information.
Using TRAIN as our On-Line Learning Management System allows us to
add trainings to participants’ online transcript and issue training
certificates through TRAIN that will stay on users’ transcripts and will be
available for participants to download or print as many times as
needed.
For classes with prerequisites, participants are able to upload their
Independent Study certificates from FEMA to also add them to their
online transcripts on TRAIN. This allows us faster check-up for
prerequisites and better information for users when certificates might
be missing. Participants can also upload certificates issues by our
Federal training partners.
Walk-in participants without prior registration on TRAIN will not be
accepted; especially for classes that have prerequisites.
If you have questions about your KS-TRAIN user account or think you
already have a user account but need help finding your username and/
or password, please contact the KS-TRAIN Help Desk at
[email protected] or 785-296-5655.
