The cool winter breeze was aromatized by the sizzles of thescrumptious winter delights at the Karachi Club’s misty lawn. Theambience was wrapped up within the warmth of peppery, delectablefood and soul soothing live music. Whether it was the sizzling Tawa Fish or the mouthwatering Koila Karahi,the traditional Dhokre or spicy Red Snapper; the endless variety of delicacies available at the winter foodfestival was a feast for the food lovers.

The well-organized event with gourmet chefs and top restaurateurs engrossingly innovated dishes to madeyou indulge in its temptation. One could tell by the jam packed stalls and the never ending throngs ofpeople that the more than 1200 visitors were feasting their taste buds to the fullest, enjoying their Sundayfamily night out! We must appreciate Convenor, Ashraf Timuswala and his team for pulling in flock of peopleand making their Sunday, 25th January 2015, a remarkable one.

With our fast pacing lives the dikhar of Almighty (Subhan Wa Tala) and Nat e Rasool (Sallal Allah ho AliheWasalam) is mandatory to achieve the spiritual satisfaction people are increasingly becoming devoid of.Keeping this in mind Karachi Club Managing Committee organized this event in the form ofan exclusive Ladies Milad on 24th January 2015 without which the Holy Month of Rabbi ul Awwalseems incomplete.

The event took off to a ravishing start on the allocated time by the recitation by one of the mostbeautiful voices in the city, Huria Rafiq left no eye without a tear. It was then followed by a knowledgeableDars which enlightened our hearts and rejuvenated our souls, taking everyone into fold of serenity.

The program was wrapped up in time as people were bid farewellwith sweets by the courtesy of the Managing Committee.

It is a great Honor for all membersof Karachi Club that our FormerPresident, Ashfaq Yousuf Tola, hasbeen appointed as Member BoardPrivat izat ion Commission byGovernment of Pakistan.

A good general knowledge and benevolenceof lady luck, the only two things needed to win excitingprizes. This was made true by The Library Committee ofKarachi Club when they organized ‘Inaam Ghar’ on 2nd January, 2015.

The event was conducted by Nusrat Ali, a renowned motivational speaker and anchor person. The areawas filled to the brim with audience of all ages wanting to win the exciting array of gifts. The gifts includedvouchers of baked goods, sound systems, LCDs, microwave oven, tea sets, kettles, laptop, mobile phones,tablets, digital Quran, gold lockets, perfumes, unstitched suits, cash prizes and many more.

The show started off with a round of a question to each individual selected through lucky draw, answereda question and won a prize if correct answer given. Next came the singing competition, a round immenselyenjoyed by the audience. A very interesting game conducted by Nusrat especially for couples was alsoenjoyed by the audience. The last game of the show was a buzzer round for which 4 participants wereselected from the audience and seated on stage.

An evening full of excitement, laughter, knowledge and prizes clenched more than 800 members into itscharm. Hats off to Nadeem Kushtiwala, Convenor of the Library Committee and his team for this wonderfuland memorable event enjoyed by all KC members.

� Main Club Reception by Cash, Cheque or Credit Card.� Annexe Reception by Cash, Cheque or Credit Card.� Bank Al Habib’sbranches across Pakistan - must carry the KC Bill for details.� On-Line payment through Bank Al Habib’s website, if member have bank account with Bank Al Habib� Bill Drop Boxes at the receptions of KC Main Club and Annex, so, members can drop cross cheques

and payorder in the boxes.� Karachi Club's website www.karachiclub.org through Credit or Debit Cards. Members can pay

the amount they so desire. However to know exact outstanding amount they will need to accessthe Members Login Area on the website through a Login ID or Password which can be obtainedby applying for it through the Karachi Club’s website.

Management has observed that Members depute their representatives to visit the Club to pay theirbills. This causes several unauthorized person to enter the Club premises. In view of security concerns,we request Members to instead make such payment through any branch of Bank Al-Habib and helpus strengthen the security of our Club.
