Biography: Kari is fresh, young, beautiful and talented with an ability to turn heads in a crowded room. She is a dynamic songwriter and live performer who follows her own path. Kari puts her entire being into every breath she sings. In her words, “writing is a way to express how I react to what life gives me…good and bad, and with that, I can reach out to others.”
Kari has written over 60 songs expressing love, heartbreak and life. She pours her heart and soul into her songwriting as well as her performances. Kari’s genre of music is country/rock and her voice crosses over into blues. Over the past four years she has performed solo as well as with a band throughout Michigan hitting festivals, fairs, summer concert series, bars and clubs, and recently in Nashville, TN. Kari recorded her first EP, “Something New,” that she co-produced. She can be found on ITunes and Google Play as well. She can accommodate various size events as a solo, duo, or a full band. She comes with a complete marketing plan, including but not limited to flyers, emails, her website, and social networks that include a list of upcoming shows to promote your event. With powerful backing musicians that have years of touring experience, Kari and her band engage the audience with insightful original songs, today's hits and classics.
Kerry Adams (lead guitar, harmonies) Kerry has toured the entire country in everything from rock to blues to funk bands and has recorded or played on over 2 dozen album releases in the past 30 years. During his early career, Kerry began designing, building and operating his own recording studios to produce original music and to host other bands and songwriters. He has arranged, recorded and released music for radio spots and television advertisers. Kerry also develops and produces musical events for municipalities and private organizations. He is a professional live sound engineer and live sound recording specialist. Two of his albums have been nominated for "Best Recording" in 2007 and 2008 by the Detroit Music Awards. He is currently an
active member with BMI and is a Disc Makers partner in publishing material for both himself and other artists he produces Doug Bridges (drummer, harmonies) Doug has been playing professionally since 16. He’s played with Detroit’s local own Killer Flamingos, Scoot Magoo and various local country and rock artists. He has also opened for and played with national artists, such as, Billy Ray Cyrus, Martina McBride, Peter Furler from the Newsboys, and members of Uncle Kracker. Chris Bezas (bass, harmonies) Chris is a high caliber bassist with many years of stage and studio
experience. He is also songwriter, rhythm guitarist and has worked as a hired gun for several bands and artists and played in several professional cover bands and variety bands throughout Michigan. He worked with producers and recorded tracks for Geoff Workman, a world class engineer and producer on multible platinum albums. He recorded with Kevin Sharpe of Metro 37, Rob tylek of RT audio, Ben Grosse, the Recording Institute of Detroit and did work at Pearl Sound and many others. He has experience and has worked as a live sound engineer and light tech for Mammout Audio, Steve Masrshall and Jerry Firdecki.
