philosopherDiscovered the “Pascal Law”Invented the PascalineAlso Invented the Syringe and

Hydraulic PressAge of 18 became partially paralyzed After that he started to become

religious and started pulling away from his work

When nearly loosing his life he then devoted himself entirely to his religion

Pascal Creation

Blaise Pascal DID create the name

He did a number of precocious mathematical treatises before the age of 18 to discover what is now known as Pascal's theorem

Lord Kelvin• William Thompson• Born- 1824, Died- 1907• British inventor and scientist• main theoretical work was in

thermodynamics • introduced the concept of absolute zero

and the Kelvin temperature • also worked with James Joule on the Joule-

Thomson (or Joule-Kelvin) effect• 1896 he was created Baron Kelvin of Largs

Kelvin’s Creationworked on heat and

electricityin thermodynamics his work

of coordinating the theories of heat held by various leading scientists of his time established firmly the law of the conservation of energy as proposed by Joule

introduced the Kelvin temperature scale ,aka the absolute scale

-The higher the altitude the less atmosphere there is for us- The lower the altitude the more atmosphere we have- Mount Everest little atmosphere- Marianas Trench a lot of atmosphere

Kinetic TheoryAll matter is composed of very small

particles called atoms, ions or molecules. All of these small particles are in constant

motion, even at the coldest temperature whether vibratory or translator.

The kinetic energy of the particles is a measure of temperature. The greater the number of impacts the greater will be the pressure and vice-versa.

These particles collide but the total energy remains same.

Kinetic energy and Temp.Kinetic energy- is the energy an object possesses due to its motion

The higher the temperature, the faster the molecules move.
