Storm Friederike caused extensive damage to forests on the 18th of January 2018 in theGerman Federal states of North Rhine-Westfalia and Lower Saxony to the West through tothe Brandenburg and Saxony states in the East. This activation concentrates mainly on theFederal State of Hesse.The present map shows wind storm delineation in the area of Kassel (GERMANY). Thethematic layer has been derived from post-event satellite image by means of visualinterpretation. The estimated geometric accuracy is 5 m CE90 or better, from nativepositional accuracy of the background satellite image.
