Description One of the most powerful ways to learn about the Improvement Kata / Coaching Kata (IK/CK) methodology is through a 3-day experience working with real processes in an actual work environment. Our Skill Camp provides students the opportunity to practice all 5 of the core routines of IK/CK while working with actual processes in a live workplace. Participants are divided into small teams of 5-6 members. Each team will be focused on a process at the host site where this training is conducted. During these days, we follow an instructional pattern of “train / go practice”. We deliver a

short training segment, and then teams go to the worksite to immediately practice the new material they have learned. This camp is an intense, real-world, hands-on exposure to the Improvement Kata / Coaching Kata methodology unlike any other. This goes beyond a simple academic exercise, bringing to life how the Kata methodology works in an actual, functioning business setting.
