WATER RESORVOIR:
Water reservoir built next to the radio tower on top of the hill. The reservoir can hold 1.4 million liters of rain water. The reservoir is built entirely of concrete
The reservoir is sited on the highest point on the island and is 55m to the Mean Sea Level.
Fuel Depot Fuel Depot – each storage tank is 20,000 liters. Was ordered and installed at a cost of $181,000. These are all jet fuel tanks as the generators run on jet fuel. The tanks are filled via an underground pipe that goes out to the wharf allowing easy access for the fuel supply boat. The electrical main supply cables and fuel pipe work are laid in trenches. The three generator sets, air discharge fan and main switchboard are all on site
