There is a new style generation out for you to discover – the iQ Rough Line. Fitted cuts, subdued colours and cool designs turn the Rough Line into an all-rounder. Not only does it look good on board of a dive safari, the diver can also wear it on his “night out” and still express his “divestyle”. The different print techniques and sewed on designs give the prints a very layered and high-quality look.

Es gibt eine neue Generation Style in der iQ-Welt zu entdecken – die iQ Rough Line. Engere Schnitte, dezente Farben und coole Drucke machen die Rough Line zum Allrounder. Sie kommt nicht nur auf der Tauchsafari zum Einsatz. Mit ihr kann der Taucher auch abends „auf der Piste“ seine Zugehörigkeit zur Taucherschar zur Schau stellen. Terry TowelsAll iQ Terry Towels are made of 100% cotton terry cloth. It has a very fleecy quality. It absorbs water easily.

BeachtowelsAll iQ Beachtowels are made of 100% cotton velour. Velour means that the loops in the woven fabric are cut open, which results in a velvety fabric with a nice smooth touch. Designs and colours show up clearly.

Beach BedThe Beach Bed is an oversized 100% cotton terry towel with integrated pillow and hood. A real bed which can also be used as a bathrobe.

All towels need to be washed before use. Every wash increases the towel’s ability to absorb water. When unwashed, especially the terry cloth can produce “ladders”. The loops in the fabric first need to felt to increase the stability of the fabric.

BeachtowelsAlle iQ Beachtowels sind aus 100% Baumwoll-Velour gefertigt. Hierbei wird die gewebte Schlaufe aufgeschnitten, so dass ein feines „Fell“ entsteht. Motive und Farben kommen klar und deutlich rüber.

Beach BedDas Beach Bed ist ein übergroßes 100% Baumwoll-Frottee-Handtuch mit integriertem Kopfkissen und integrierter Kapuze. Ein wahres Bett, das auch noch als Bademantel dient. Alle Handtücher müssen vor Gebrauch gewaschen werden. Jede Wäsche erhöht die Saugfähigkeit. Besonders das Frottee-material ist direkt nach der Fertigung noch anfällig für Laufma-schen. Es muss erst durch das Waschen verfilzen, um die volle Stabilität zu erreichen.

iQ UV Shirts & Fullsuits

Protects your skin.The fact that too much UV-radiation can age your skin and even cause skin cancer, shouldn’t be new to you. Neither is the fact that you can easily get too much sun when engaging in water sports and that UV-radiation even penetrates a couple of meters into the water. What could be new to you is that normal cotton t-shirts are not an effective protection when they are wet. They only absorb small parts of the radiation. Shirts specifically desi-gned for this purpose are more effective, because the fabric can absorb and reflect UV-radiation to a great extent. iQ offers a wide range of UV-shirts; with long and short sleeves, even in fullsuit, for ladies and men. UV-shirts are also available for the most precious, the kids.

Without chemicals.The production of this fabric is done without any chemicals. During the production, micro pigments are worked directly into the thread, so that even wearing and washing doesn’t wash off the protecting effect.

Put on your wetsuit easily.The long-sleeved UV-shirt and the UV-fullsuit have another very diving specific advantage. With the Lycra material and loops for the thumbs it is extremely easy to put on a neoprene wetsuit. No more tour de force. Just wear the UV-garment underneath the wetsuit and simply slip into the sleeves and legs. The thumb loops and ankle loops prevent the fabric from slipping underneath the wetsuit.

Schützt deine Haut.Dass UV-Strahlung in zu großen Maßen zu Hautalterung und so-gar zu Hautkrebs führt, dürfte dir nicht neu sein. Auch nicht, dass dieses Maß beim Wassersport regelmäßig überschritten wird und UV-Strahlung auch bis einige Meter unter Wasser eindringt. Neu dürfte sein, dass ein Baumwoll-T-Shirt im nassen Zustand nicht ausreichend vor der Strahlung schützt. Abhilfe geben speziell konzipierte Textilien, die zuverlässig vor UV-Strahlung schützen. iQ bietet dir eine breite Kollektion an UV-Shirts mit langen oder kurzen Armen, sogar als UV-Fullsuit. Auch die Empfindlichsten, die Kinder, bekommen bei iQ UV-Shirts.

Ganz ohne Chemie.Der schützende Effekt kommt ganz ohne Chemie zustande. Bei der Fertigung des Textils werden Mikropigmente fest mit den Fasern verbunden.

More about our materialsComfortflex – Kombination aus besonders dehnbarem Neoprenschaum und extrem flexibler Kaschierung bietet die ideale Passform und hohen Tragekomfort. Poly-Velour – Fleece-artige Kaschierung an der Innenseite des Comfortflex. Hoch flexibel, weich und schnell trocknend. Mo-Tec – Innovatives Material, innen mit Titan beschichtet. Im Kontakt zur Haut wird die Wasserzirkulation wirkungsvoll eingeschränkt, stärker als bei kaschiertem Neopren. Mo-Tec hat besonders wenig Auftrieb und ist somit das ideale Material für Unterzieher und Warmwassershorties. Smoothskin – ist auf einer Seite kaschiert und hat auf der anderen Seite eine geschlossene Gummioberfläche. Die glatte Oberfläche liegt direkt auf der Haut und dichtet somit gegen Wassereinbruch ab. O-Ring Seals – Säume aus Smoothskin dichten an Arm- und Beinabschlüssen ab Flip Seals – eine Lippe aus Smoothskin dichtet oberhalb des Reißverschlusses an Arm- und Beinabschlüssen ab. Double Seals – die klassische Doppelmanschette. Der Reißverschluss an Arm- und Beinab-schluss ist mit einer Manschette aus Smoothskin unterlegt und wirkt besonders abdichtend.

O-Ring Seals – Seams made of Smoothskin seal the arm and leg holes. Flip Seals – A „lip“ made of Smoothskin seals the arm and leg holes above the zipper on the inside of the arms and legs. Double Seals – The zippers on arms and legs have additional cuffs made of Smoothskin that seal up very well.

There are three factors that determine the quality

of a bag: stability, weight and comfort. If I want

absolute stability, I will have to agree to more

weight. If I want a very light bag, I will have to

abstain from ball-bearings and a firm back panel.

A middle ground needs to be found.

ideal travel bags for divers.

Optimised dimensions - The usual dive bags are

very broad. Especially while travelling this is not

very practical; in a train or when loading a car or

boat. iQ has adapted the dimensions of its Dive

Der Mensch war, ist und wird auch in Zukunft vom Meer abhängig sein. Das Meer regelt das Klima, das Meer liefert Rohstoffe und Nahrung. Inwieweit er diese Ressourcen auch in Zukunft weiterhin nutzen kann, ist fraglich. Grund dafür ist die Ausbeu-tung, Belastung und zunehmende Zerstörung der Meere durch Überfischung, Beifang und Verschmutzung. Genau hier setzt die Kampagne DEADLINE an. Sie informiert und zeigt Wege auf, welchen Beitrag jeder Einzelne leisten kann, um das Ökosystem Meer zu schützen. DEADLINE wird auch Beispiele aufzeigen, in denen durch gezielte Maßnahmen Naturareale wieder renaturiert werden konnten.

Somit zeigt sich, dass schnelles und gezieltes Handeln dem Meer und seinen Bewohnern noch helfen kann. DEADLINE ist eine Kampagne zur Aufklärung und Bewusstseinsbildung. Ein wichtiger Bestandteil der Kampagne ist die Ausstellung einer großen Delphin-Installation. Die Delphine sollen als Botschafter der Meere bei der Aufklärung helfen.

Pate des Schlankdelphins.

Der Schlankdelphin gehört neben dem Großen Tümmler zu den häufigsten Delphinarten und kommt in allen tropischen und sub-tropischen Meeren vor. Da der Schlankdelphin oft Thunfischschwärme begleitet, ist er besonders durch die Thunfisch-Fischerei gefährdet.

DEADLINE is a campaign which raises the awareness for our dependency on the oceans and gives advice on what we can do to protect them. iQ-Company supports the campaign by godfathering the Pantropical Spotted Dolphin.
