INTERESTING FACTSMountain lion kittens are covered with dark
spots that disappear. A cougar will risk its life to catch a large animal. Cougars hunt large elk and big horn sheep. The sharp horns on these animals could easily kill them. The puma has over 40 names in English alone. Mountain lions are also called puma, catamount, panther, housecat, king cat, yellow tiger, and screamer just to name a few.
