The BARRACUDA slip-on system for the Kawasaki ZX10R Ninja achieves the highest production quality. Every detail has received the same amount of attenti-on. Technologically advanced production and top-quali-ty hand welding are reflected in a superior and unique final product, the result of the experience we have gained in developing exhaust systems. This product was also created in our development department by the same team which develops exhaust systems for the professinal teams.

The BARRACUDA slip-on system is unique. The link pipe is made of stainless steel, while the oval/round-section muffler is available in either Carbon Ri Reinforced or aluminum (the choice of muffler does not affect the overall performance). The total weight of the slip-on system is 5.9 kg. The entire rear end of the slip-on system (muffler, clamp and tension springs) is made using the same materials and technology which we provide to the professional teams.

Installation of the slip-on system is simple and fast, as it is designed as a supplement to the original exhaust system. No special tools are needed.

Das Barracuda Slipon System ist einzigartig. Das Mit-tel-oder Verbindungsrohr ist aus leichten, poliertem V2A plus, während die Schalldämpferhülle in super-leichtem Hi-Tec 7065T6 Alu oder in dem neuen und Ultraleichtem Carbon Ri Reinforced gebaut wird. (Die Leistung wird davon nicht beeinflußt.) Das Gesamtge-wicht des Slipon wird dadurch auf das netto Gewicht von 5.9 kg. Der komplette Slo Kit wird aus den glei-chen Materialien gefertigt, die auch die professionellen Race Teams benutzen.

Die Installation ist einfach und schnell zu handba-ben, weil das SLO Kit als Ersatz für die Orginalanlage konzipiert worden ist. Kein Spezial Werkzeug ist not-wendig.

Leistungsentwicklung und PERFORMANCE

Data Analysis der Barracuda Slipon ohne DB killer. Die Barracuda für die ZX10R Ninja arbeitet perfekt mit dem Motor zusemmen und liefert eine signifikante Leistungssteigerung. Der Power steigt ab 3000 umd und wächst weiter an , bis in die Top-Drehzahlen. Bei 11900 umd erreicht die Barracuda 161,8 PS, was einen Zuwachs von 5.4 PS bei 12200 umd entspricht. Ein erstklassiges Resultat für eine Slipon oder Bolton Anlage.

PERFORMANCE

The Kawasaki responds well to a partial modification of the exhaust, delivering a significant perfor-mance increase. The power increase begins right at 3000 rpm, and the increase continues to grow right into the overrev range. At 11900 rpm it puts out 161.8 HP, and the max. increased power is 5.4 HP at 12200 rpm. Of course we can’t expect truly searing results from a first-level tuning component. Those who are seeking a greater amount of power should refer to our complete exhaust systems for the new ZX.
