Paddle for Pets is a fundraising event designed to raise funds for your
local Humane Societies and/or local pet oriented non-profits.
The event is comprised of 5 major sponsors, various other sponsors, 3 paddling elements, and ends with awards and a BBQ!
The paddling elements are: Fast, a race course around the lake, begins at a specific time. Awards are given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Slow, is a poker run. Paddlers are to collect 5 playing cards from various points. While there is no specific start time paddlers must have collected all 5 cards before the awards ceremony. Paddler with the highest poker hand wins! Roll, those who dare can enter a contest to see how many times they can roll in 2 minutes. Award is given to the paddler with the highest number of rolls.
