Children’s Worship Change
Beginning September 11, KBC will undertake a BIG CHANGE in our CHILDREN'S SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP. Children's Church will be held for the full hour for ages 4 through 2nd grade in the Children's Worship Room next door to the Parlor in the Education Building. Please remember to sign your children in and out when you drop them off and pick them up. We are making this change because 1) to give our children a great worship experience on a level children can comprehend and become engaged, and 2) for safety reasons. As you all know, a fa-vorite game of children at this age is "hide and go seek." This creates risk if we continue to transi-tion children in the middle of the 11:00 am adult worship service. Those of you who read the letter in the BEAM may already be aware of the upcoming change as a part of our transition to become a "Safe Sanctuary" Church. Please encourage others to read and discuss this information intended to make Knightdale Baptist Church a safe and secure place for our children. Our world is not always a safe place. We must continue to adjust in order to keep children safe and engaged at KBC. Thank You- Terry Johnson, Discipleship Team and Sunday School Director DeAnne Talley, Children's Ministry Team
Lib Matthews says, “Sammy and I want to thank everyone for the many expressions of care and con-cern after his recent heart attack and heart bypass surgery. All the visits, cards and calls have meant so much. Sammy is getting stronger each day and will be up and about soon.” The card is on the bulletin board in the Education Building.
Thank You
