KBE converted an existing 100,000 sf community college into

a 200,000 sf state-of-the-art technical high school. The facility

remained fully operational during this phased construction

project. The school includes more than 15 technical education

and science labs, full academic facilities, auditorium, media

center, gymnasium, and cafeteria and dining facilities. M/E/P

and data systems were also upgraded throughout.

The renovation and addition project improved site circulation, upgraded

the school’s vocational shops, and implemented high-tech, fully digital

academic classrooms and laboratories. The existing classroom wing was

demolished and replaced with a new, three-story academic wing and

gymnasium. Complete renovation of the trade classrooms and upgrading

of all building systems. The school remained fully operational

throughout the multi-phased construction.

To improve efficiency and decrease operating costs, KBE upgraded all

mechanical, electrical and fire safety systems throughout the school. The

modernization also included a new administration wing, extensive site

work, parking lot expansion, full code updates, and new septic and

stormwater systems. Temporary classrooms were set up to accommodate

students during the two-year project.

rooms, media center, kitchen-cafeteria and gymnasium.

The addition and renovation to this private day school include a commercial

kitchen, dining rooms, library / media center, science lab, classrooms and locker /

shower facilities. The Beit Tefillah (chapel) includes 12 high windows facing the

courtyard representing the 12 tribes of Israel. 7 round columns symbolize the 7

arms of the Menorah, each with light fixture.
