Indications For the vaccination of healthy chickens, as an aid in the preventing Newcastle disease (ND)

Dosage and AdministrationDrinking water method Give the birds no water for at least two hours prior to vaccination. Dilute 1,000 doses of vaccine with natu-ral cold water as per the followings.Under 8 weeks: 1000doses per 20L of drinking waterOver 8 weeks: 1000doses per 40L of drinking water

Although disease may not be evident, coccidiosis, chronic respiratory disease, mycoplasma infec-tion, lymphoid leucosis, infectious bursal disease, Marek’s disease, or other disease conditions may cause serious complications or reduce protection. Use entire contents of vial when first opened. Burn empty bottles and unused vaccine and ac-cessories. Newcastle virus can cause inflammation of the eyelids in humans, lasting two or three days. The user should avoid contaminating his hands, eyes and clothing with this vaccine. Wash hands thoroughly after preparing and us-ing the vaccine. Indications For vaccination of healthy chickens, as an aid in the preventing Newcastle disease

Dosage and Administration1. Spray method (1) The vaccine dilution is prepared by mix-

ing 1000 doses of vaccine with 100ml of distilled water.

(2) Adjust nozzle size to fine spray (50~70um)

(3) Dispense vaccine over the heads of the chickens with sprayer.

2. Eyedrop method (1) The vaccine dilution is prepared by mix-

ing 1000 doses of vaccine with 30ml of dilute solution.

After inserting dropper applicator into plastic diluent bottle, allow one full drop (0.03ml) of vaccine.

(2) Vaccination by eyedrop method is conducted by allowing and full drop of vaccine to fall into the open eye of the bird and holding until the bird swallows.

(3) Hold dropper bottle in vertical position throughout vaccination to avoid wasting vaccine.

3. Drinking water method (1) Use natural cold drinking water for dilut-

ing the vaccine. (2) Mixing skim milk (0.3~0.5%) for vaccine

stabilizer. (3) Give the birds no water for at least two

hours prior to vaccination. Dilute 1,000 doses of vaccine with natu-

ral cold water as per the following chart.

Dosage and Administration1) Vaccination program This vaccine is recommended for the immunization of healthy chicken at least 4 weeks of age by the eye drop method against Infectious laryngotra-cheitis. Layer and breeder should be revaccinated at 16 to 20 weeks.

2) Intraocular inoculation Put one drop (0.03ml) of vaccine onto the eye of the chicken with intraocular device after rehydrated with diluent.

B. Intraocular inoculationPour a small amount of diluent into the vial of dried vaccine and shake well. Pour the partly dissolved vaccine into the diluent bottle containing the rest of diluent. Inocu-late one drop of liquid (0.03ml) made with

vaccine provision for 1,000 chickens as dis-solved in 30ml diluted solution on an eye of each chicken using the eyedropper. Fix one eye (or nose) of chicken horizontally and execute vaccination injecting one drop ex-actly on eye. When executing the intranasal vaccination, cover one nose and release the chicken after complete inhalation of vaccine into nose.

C. Drinking water methodAdd rehydrated the vaccine to drinking wa-ter and mix in accordance with the follow-ing chart. Distribute the vaccine solution. Provide no other drinking water until all the vaccine treated water has been consumed. Make sure the vaccines to be completely dosed within 1~2 hours stopping water supply for about 2 hours prior to the vac-cination. Provide enough watering space so that at least two-thirds of the total chicken flocks can drink at one time. Add powdered skim milk by 0.3~0.5% as a demulcent to enhance the vaccination effect. Do not use any sterilizer, detergent, sanitizers and all medication from drinking water, preferably 72 hours before vaccination and 24 hours following vaccination.
