Amy Thompson Run 8K, 5K, 2K, Kids Run - May 30 at 8:00am
Loose Park, Kansas City, MO
Join us for the 29th annual Amy Thompson Run 5K/8K on May 30
at Loose Park in Kansas City. This fun family event features a 5K
run/walk, an 8K run/walk, a 2K walk for thought and a kids run.
All participants will receive a custom finisher’s medal! Learn more

Heroes for Hospice 5K - June 11 at 7:30am REI, Overland Park, KS
The third annual Heroes for Hospice 5K benefits both Kansas
City Hospice and Midland Care Hospice of Topeka & Lawrence.
Runners, walkers and stroller/wagon riders are all welcome for
a fun course around Prairiefire and the golf course at LionsGate.
Awards will be given to the top three overall male/female and
overall male/female masters runners following the race. Learn

Leawood Rotary 5K - June 11, 8:00am
Tomahawk Creek Parkway & 114th St, Leawood, KS
Founded in 1995, the Rotary Club of Leawood, Kansas, is a
service club committed to the spirit of Rotary and the
embodiment of Rotary's international motto of "Service Above
Self". The welfare of children is a primary focus of the club's
efforts, and all proceeds raised from this 5K Rotary Run event
will go toward funding of several children's charities through the
club's foundation entitled "ACT: A Child's Tomorrow." Learn

Miles Against Melanoma 5K - June 11 at 8:00am Lake Remembrance, Blue Springs, MO
The Miles Against Melanoma 5K will raise funds and awareness,
while providing an atmosphere of family fun. Activities will
include music, a raffle, kid’s entertainment, refreshments and
various vendors. All proceeds benefit melanoma research. Our
mission is to fight melanoma by increasing awareness,
supporting patients, survivors and families while fundraising

CASA SuperHero 5K - June 12, 8:00am Corporate Woods, Overland Park, KS
The 3rd Annual CASA SuperHero 5K Run/Walk will benefit
abused and neglected children in the Kansas City Community.
Combining the efforts of CASA of Johnson & Wyandotte
Counties and Jackson County CASA we created a chip-timed
5K run/walk, kids’ fun run, family-friendly activities, vendors,

Heart & Stroke 5K - June 18 at 8:00am Power & Light District, Kansas City, MO
As the signature fund-raising event for the American Heart
Association since 1995, the Heart Walk promotes physical
activity and heart-healthy living in a fun family environment.
The Heart Walk is an opportunity for people to improve their
health and simultaneously raise funds to help fight
cardiovascular disease and stroke. Learn more about the

Kevin Gray Father’s Day 5K - June 18 at 8:00am Avila University, Kansas City, MO
The event honors Kevin Gray, longtime executive director of
the Greater Kansas City Sports Commission who battled
sarcoma cancer in 2011, and fathers and families throughout
our metropolitan area. The beneficiary is the KU Cancer
Center — focusing on sarcoma research. Awards will be given
to the top overall male/female, overall masters male/female

PD Donut Dash 5K - June 25 at 7:30am Corner of 18th Ave & Erie St, Kansas City, MO
We invite you to not only support the fight to cure
Parkinson's, but to also partake in a fun-filled donut dash. All
participants will be encouraged to have fun with family and
friends, race to a new 5K personal record on this flat course
and enjoy North Kansas City's famous "Donut King" donuts

RunStrong Running Workshop Saturday, June 11 at 7 am - Leawood store (4760 W 135th St, Leawood, KS) Somewhere between 50-80% of runners get hurt each year. Let’s change that. This
workshop is designed to arm you with the tools needed to not only stay healthy, but
perform your best on race day. Physical therapist Nathan Carlson, owner of RunningMate,
will lead this two hour interactive workshop at the KC Running Company Store! Learn
