Job DescriptionJob Title: Marketing and Communications Assistant

Responsible To: Marketing and Communications Manager

Salary: £9.40 per hour inclusive of holiday pay (Holiday pay is paid termly)

Summary Of Post The Marketing and Communications Assistant will work within the Marketing & Communications team to assist on a range of administrative tasks including; monitoring the marketing inbox and responding to enquiries, updating the website and promoting content on our social media site. They will also assist the marketing and communications team with project work and general office administration.

The post holder will work within the Marketing & Communications team but at times may also work with other KCLSU staff.

Main Tasks Monitor the marketing inbox and respond to enquiries in a polite, timely and professional manner

Update the website and social media platforms with agreed content

Assist the marketing & communications coordinators to deliver the marketing & communications plan

Assist with general administrative tasks to support KCLSU communications to members

Additional Information

The job description is current at October 2015 and should be reviewed annually. It outlines the main duties of the position and is designed for the benefit of both the post holder and KCLSU in understanding the prime functions of the post. It should not be regarded as exclusive or exhaustive. In particular, given the grading and nature of the post, the responsibilities of, the post holder may well change from time to time. The post-holder may, from time to time, be required to be based at and/or work from any King’s College London site.

KCLSU has the right to vary the duties and responsibilities after consultation with you.

Be eligible to work in the UK, and provide proof of this (i.e. a passport/visa) when asked by KCLSU
