▪ Absolutely tight shut-off (no leakage visible to the nakedeye) in either flow direction in accordance with EN12266-1, leakage rate A; ISO 5208, Category A; API 598Table 5 and FCI 70-2 Cl. VI

▪ Face-to-face length to ISO 5752-20, EN 558-1-20 and API609, Table 1

Product benefits

▪ Back-up seal at the stem passages to EN 12569:

– Ensured by pressing the liner's collar against the stem

– This pressure is applied by means of a spring lockwasher.

– This secondary seal is not active in normal operation.It is completely independent of the primary seal atthe stem passage.

▪ Tight sealing at the flanged line connections:

– Ensured by the compression of the liner between thebody and the piping flange

– An additional elastomer joint ring ensures reliableand long-term sealing at the flanges, even when usedin a vacuum.

▪ Tight shut-off:

– Ensured by the contact between the sphericallymachined valve disc and the liner which protects thebody

– The contact pressure is developed by the elastomerbacking ring.

▪ Primary seal at the stem passages:

– Ensured by the contact pressure between thespherically machined valve disc and the PFA liner

– An elastomer backing ring ensures reliable pressure inthe long term.

– Perfect sealing at the stem passages is achieved viathe compression of the liner's collar and the backingring between the stem and the body.

▪ Single-piece stem/valve disc assembly, core made ofstainless steel with a chromium content of 13 % or 17 %,PFA-encapsulated

▪ Two-piece body

▪ PFA thickness: 2.5 mm

▪ Anti-static ring (resistance < 10 Ohm)

▪ Stem shoulder functions as stem anti-blow out device

▪ Valve body closed at the bottom: DN 40 to 100 mm

▪ Extended neck allows insulation

▪ The weakest point of the stem is located outside the valvebody to ensure the valve's integrity.

Flange dimensions

The valves can be installed between all commercial matingflanges and line connections without requiring any flangegaskets.

The elastomer liner alone provides a tight seal at the flangeconnections.

The drawings below show a valve of body type T1 installedbetween flanges.

Please verify that the connection meets the requirements givenbelow.

The flange dimensions indicated in the table apply to all bodytypes.
